Shrub-mtg is one of the most inspired Zelda fan artists I’ve ever encountered. More than just illustration, shrub creates entire fan-manga based off of Ocarina of Time. The post above notes the release of this fan book, the image depicting the end of Ocarina of time with the perspective of Zelda requesting the Ocarina of Time from Link – Quote:

“Link, give the Ocarina to me… As a Sage, I can return you to your original time with it. When peace returns to Hyrule… It will be time for us to say good-bye… Now, go home, Link. Regain your lost time! Home… where you are supposed to be… the way you are supposed to be… Thank you… Link… Good-bye.“

The title of the book roughly translates “To you, no one”. The subtext of Ocarina of Time shines through their art. I strongly suggest you create a pixiv account and do some reading. Translation apps are enough to get a general idea of the story when you’re pointing your camera at the screen.

Song of the day:

Speaking of inspired Zelda fans, Hideki Kamiya creator behind Okami exposes the player to beautiful painted open worlds with an incredible theme composed by Masami Ueda. It immediately fills the heart with the sense of a grand journey beginning, and the determination to cure the world cursed by Yami. While Ueda is credited for this track, there are multiple composers featured in this one of a kind RPG game.

Thoughts:

It’s okay to be passionate about something. You should share that. Don’t hold back, be who you are and embrace the things you love. Share your heart and don’t let anyone else’s insecurities hurt you. Make yourself.
